Introducing Our Science Center: The Research Behind Every Technology We Build
We launched a Science center with peer-reviewed research explainers for hyperbaric oxygen, red light therapy, cryotherapy and float therapy — because informed buyers make better decisions.
Introducing Our Science Center: The Research Behind Every Technology We Build
Today we're launching our Science center — a permanent section of this site dedicated to explaining the actual, peer-reviewed science behind every technology family we manufacture.
Why We Built This
Most wellness equipment websites ask you to trust them. We'd rather show you the research and let you decide.
Each article in the Science center covers:
- The mechanism — the actual physics or biology (Henry's law for hyperbaric oxygen, cytochrome c oxidase for red light, cold-shock response for cryotherapy, sensory reduction for float therapy)
- The history — from the US Navy's 1937 adoption of hyperbaric oxygen, to Endre Mester's accidental 1967 discovery of photobiomodulation, to John C. Lilly's first isolation tank at the NIH in 1954
- What research says — with real citations (PMID and DOI references you can verify), including honest assessments where the evidence is still emerging
- How it applies — from hospitals and research labs to homes, gyms and clinics today
Our Editorial Standard
Three rules govern every article:
- Research claims get citations — if we say a study found something, we name the study
- Honesty about uncertainty — where evidence is strong, we say so; where it's still developing, we say that instead
- No medical claims, ever — these articles explain published research; our products are wellness equipment, not medical devices
